The Town of Turner Valley is located in the Municipal District of Foothills #31, approximately 60 km southwest of Calgary at the junction of Highway 7 and Highway 22. Travelling east from Turner Valley along routes 22 and 7 will take you to Okotoks [20 km] and Aldersyde [hook up to Highway 2].
Turner Valley is located in one of southern Alberta’s prime ranching and farming areas. The major economic base of the area is agriculture, oil and gas and tourism services. Controlled growth remains a priority for the community.
