Bloomin’ Boxes 2010
May – August
The best of the best and the most beautiful of the beautiful will be on display throughout the Diamond Valley in the 2010 edition of Bloomin’ Boxes. This event encourages businesses to create beautiful, unique and individual flower boxes that remain on display for the summer.

Diamond Valley Parade and Discovery Days
June 4 – 5
Come and join Turner Valley and Black Diamond in this annual local party. This weekend jammed full of fun events that the whole family can enjoy!

Diamond Valley Fun Run
June 4
The Diamond Valley Fun Run kicks off Diamond Valley Parade and Discovery Days. The family fun run has expanded from a 5 km run/walk along the Friendship Trail to include a 10 km run west of Turner Valley.

Black Diamond Parade and Activities
June 5
The 41st Annual Diamond Valley Parade and activities. Includes a full day of fun starting with the parade, entertainment, antique classic car show and shine, family activities, and fireworks. Located in Black Diamond and Historic Downtown.

Turner Valley Discovery Days Activities
June 5
This annual celebration is a fun, free day filled with activities and entertainment for the whole family. The Royalite Millennium Park comes to life with large inflatable bounce houses, petting zoo, reptile display, and strolling entertainers along the pathway leading to the gazebo. Friends Helping Friends Food Bank Drive
June 5 (POSTPONED – CHECK BACK FOR NEW DATE!)
On the first Saturday in June come for a dip in the Dr. Lander Memorial Pool and support a great cause! Admission is waived in exchange for a donation of either cash or a non-perishable food item for our local food bank.

Ride to Conquer Cancer
June 26

Turner Valley Triathlon
July 1
This is a fun family event to raise funds for improvements to the Dr. Lander Memorial Pool. Come on out and enjoy the special events that will be occurring throughout the day at the Pool! For more information about this event please CLICK HERE.

Stampede Breakfast
Location: Royal Canadian Legion Turner Valley Branch #78

Hankering for a Stampede Breakfast but don’t want to brave all the crowds? Come on down to the Royal Canadian Legion Turner Valley Branch #78 and enjoy a traditional pancake breakfast for the whole family!

Festival of the Arts
August 14
Times: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Come on down to Royalite Millennium Park and enjoy this great outdoor fair featuring local arts and music. For artisans wishing to attend the event please CLICK HERE for a registration form.

Community Garage Sale
September 25
One person’s trash is another’s teasure. Take part in this community garage sale and unload your unwanted items while finding something else for yourself.

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
December 31
Ring in the New Year with your family and ours at the New Year’s Eve Family Celebration featuring hot chocolate, hot dogs, ice skating, hay wagon rides, and, to top it all off, a fireworks show!
