The pastoral backdrop of the Rocky Mountain foothills has attracted many artists to the area. Turner Valley has been graced with the presence of many talented artists in the fields of drawing, music, painting, photography, pottery, painting, sculpture, and other fine arts. Selections of their work can be found in local shops in Turner Valley. Local musicians can be enjoyed at many community functions held throughout the year.

Sheep Creek Arts Council
The Sheep Creek Arts Council is a volunteer organization dedicated to the betterment of our community by providing programs to promote and develop appreciation and participation in a wide variety of the arts.
Location: Classes take place in the Sheep Creek Arts Council rooms located in Bay 1 & 2, 133 Sunset Blvd., Turner Valley.

Monday – Decorative Painting; Beginner Pilates
Tuesday – Creative Writing; After School Art Classes for Kids; Fitness Ball Classes; Tai Chi for Beginners; Scrapbooking and Camera Club.
Wednesday – Quilting Club; Hand Applique – Quilting; Watercolors Made Easy.
Thursday – “Make Your Own Quilt”; Calligraphy; Decorative Art; Open Painting; Cartooning.
